The Qixingtan Scenic Area is connected by bicycle paths, serving as the main artery from Hualien City's Nanbin Park, through Hualien Port and the Forty-Eight Highland, all the way to the Qixingtan Scenic Area. This 21-kilometer journey offers various landscapes along the route.
The Hualien County Government has further developed recreational facilities such as a stone sculpture park, stargazing plaza, sunrise observation deck, and children's playground. Near the fishing grounds, there are interpretive signs about marine ecology.
Additionally, a coastal botanical garden has been established in the windbreak forest area, boasting rich flora and fauna. Embarking on an educational journey here is definitely worthwhile.
